Tactical Fire & Rescue Training
Real Fire Fighting and Real Rescue - for the real world. This specifically designed Tactical Fire and Rescue Training Course is rarely available to the non-professional-normally targeted at Professional Fire and Rescue Personnel. Our syllabus includes basic use of Fire Appliances and Fire Fighting Equipment, including our full size Fire Appliances, hose reels, hoses, pumping with our fire appliances from hydrants and open water - Use of Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus, specialist Ladders, terminating in a full blown Practical Fire Fighting exercise. Rescue training includes Road Traffic Collision procedures, on Roads and Motorways, stabilising of vehicles, making safe, use of Jaws of Life, cutting equipment, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, Ferns Backboard, etc., etc. Extrication of casualties following Road crashes-terminating in a full blown vehicle incident with extrication of casualties by use of the above equipment, plus air bags, etc. Due to the intensity of this 2 day course students are required to stay on-site to enable the full use of their time, also includes a full night time Incident/ exercise. Full catering is supplied in the form of normal Fire Station Messing - all Equipment is supplied except sleeping bag and camp bed.
Due to the unusual course content which is rarely available to the general public - we have a high demand as places are limited to 8 students Firefighters each course, normally held over a weekend, Friday evening to Sunday night. Also a certain amount of discipline is required from the student, and a degree of physical fitness is also required. The above course is Ideal for the company or organisation who require a Team building course, this type is rarely available and much sought after by organisations or individuals who have this demand, also aimed at youth groups, government/ local authorities for team building.
